Features such as access, wheels, lifting points, removable panels, equipment organisation, loading arrangements and interfaces may all influence the finished solution.

By involving these considerations early, packaging can support the people using the equipment as well as the product itself.

Design reviews allow requirements to be checked, changes incorporated and practical issues resolved before manufacture begins.
