A highly configurable rugged case family offering an exceptionally broad choice of sizes for equipment with demanding transport requirements.
Thermodyne ShokStop cases use rugged polyethylene construction designed to absorb and dissipate impact during transport. The range combines this resilient outer shell with a very broad choice of case sizes, allowing B&D to select a format that closely matches the equipment rather than adding unnecessary case volume.
Thermodyne states that more than 600 ShokStop sizes are available, ranging from compact cases to very large formats. This breadth is one of the range’s main strengths, particularly where equipment dimensions make conventional standard case families inefficient.
Environmental sealing can be added where required, while field-replaceable hardware, stacking features and a wide choice of case options support repeated operational use.
Barum & Dewar works with an extensive range of established protective case and container manufacturers, allowing us to focus on finding the right solution for your application rather than promoting a single product or material.

The breadth of the ShokStop range allows B&D to focus first on finding an outer case that fits the equipment and transport requirement efficiently. We review dimensions, weight, handling, storage, environmental exposure and transport method before selecting the most appropriate format.
Once the case has been selected, our design team develops the internal protection around the exact equipment geometry, weight and fragility, while also considering packing sequence, movement and operator access. This follows the same equipment-led design process B&D applies across all protective case and foam solutions.
These cases are available with a range of features and specifications, including:

B&D brings an independent design perspective to case selection. The availability of hundreds of ShokStop sizes is valuable, but our role is to determine whether one of those formats genuinely fits the equipment and then engineer the internal solution around it.
By combining product choice with in-house design and foam capability, B&D can create a finished solution that considers shock, vibration, handling and logistics together.
