B&D DELTA® rack cases are designed for projects where standard rack dimensions or fixed configurations do not provide the right solution. The inner frame depth and height can be optimised around the equipment, allowing the finished rack to respond directly to the system being housed rather than forcing that system into a predetermined case format.
DELTA® racks use aluminium extrusion with a choice of lightweight honeycomb plastic or aluminium panels. The inner frame can be hard mounted or shock mounted depending on the sensitivity of the equipment and the expected transport environment.
Because the DELTA® system is configured by B&D, internal and external features can be considered as part of the same design process. This makes it particularly relevant for complex electronics, communications and deployed systems where protection, access, weight and usability all influence the final solution.

Every DELTA project begins with the equipment. B&D reviews rack units, depth, weight distribution, shock sensitivity, cabling, access, cooling considerations, handling and transport before developing the rack configuration.
This can include additional internal metalwork and project-specific features required to make the equipment straightforward to integrate, transport, deploy and maintain. The aim is to create a rack that protects the system without adding unnecessary size or complexity.
